War Is Coming T-Shirt

'The words 'There is a War Coming' are taken from the apocalyptic choral onslaught at the end of 'Hiding All Away' and speak into the moment. A teddy bear, wearing weaponised gloves, sits in a pool of blood. The T-shirt is printed in red, white and blue. When recording 'Hiding All Away', the gospel singers took issue with the final lines, until I explained that the ‘war’ in question was the war of love.' Nick Cave
