`Outside the window of my seafront hotel in Blackpool, at the start of the Nick & Warren Carnage tour, an illuminated SpongeBob broadly beamed and waved.
“I’m ready!” He seemed to say.
“No problemo!” He said.
“Everything will be okay!”
