Ominous t-shirt with hand drawn design by Nick Cave with reference to lyrics from 2003 song ‘Hiding All Away’ by Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds.
`The words ‘there is a War Coming’ are taken from the apocalyptic choral onslaught at the end of ‘Hiding All Away’ and speak into the moment. A teddy bear, wearing weaponized gloves, sits in a pool of blood. The T-shirt is printed in red, white and blue. When recording ‘Hiding All Away’, the gospel singer took issue with the final lines, until I explained that the ‘war’ in question was the war of love.´
